1. Scope and Acceptance
These Website Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you visit, browse or use Liberty College of Management’s public website, online forms and other website features that link to these Terms. By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
These Terms govern website use only. They do not replace a student enrolment contract, program-specific terms, College policy, funding agreement or any rights or obligations imposed by law.
2. Website Information Is General
The website provides general information about the College, its programs and services. Although the College aims to keep information accurate and current, website content may contain errors or become outdated. The College may correct, update, remove or change website content without notice.
- Program availability, start dates, schedules, delivery methods, admission requirements, tuition, fees and other details may change and must be confirmed directly with the College.
- Website content is not an offer, guarantee or binding promise of admission, registration, funding approval, employment, income, certification, licensure, immigration status or any other outcome.
- If website content conflicts with an executed enrolment contract, an official College policy or applicable law, the contract, policy or law will govern, as applicable.
3. Applications, Inquiries and Electronic Communications
Submitting an inquiry, request for information or application through the website does not create a student relationship or guarantee admission. Admission is subject to the College’s review, eligibility requirements, program availability, required documentation and applicable regulatory requirements.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate, complete and not misleading. You consent to receive communications necessary to respond to your request or administer an application. Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and may be unsubscribed from using the method provided in the message.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the website for lawful, personal and informational purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, systems or data.
- Introduce malware, harmful code, automated attacks or other disruptive technology.
- Scrape, copy, harvest or systematically extract website content or personal information without written authorization.
- Impersonate another person, submit false information, infringe the rights of others or use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or discriminatory activity.
- Interfere with the website’s availability, security or normal operation.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content, including text, graphics, photographs, videos, design, logos, trademarks, course descriptions and downloadable materials, are owned by or licensed to the College and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, publish, modify, distribute, sell, license, frame or create derivative works from website content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may link to third-party websites, portals, social media platforms, mapping services or other resources for convenience. The College does not control or endorse third-party content and is not responsible for its availability, accuracy, security, terms or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and policies.
7. Privacy and Cookies
The College’s Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained and safeguarded, including information received through website forms, cookies and analytics. The Privacy Policy is separate from these Terms and should be read before submitting personal information.
8. Website Availability and Security
The College may suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of the website for maintenance, security, operational or other reasons. The College does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free access. You are responsible for using appropriate device, account and cybersecurity protections.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without representations or warranties of any kind. The College is not responsible for loss arising from website interruption, unauthorized access, malicious software, third-party content or reliance on general website information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the College will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from website use. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any non-waivable rights available under applicable law.
10. Suspension of Access
The College may restrict or terminate access to the website where it reasonably believes these Terms have been breached, website security is at risk or restriction is otherwise necessary to protect users, the College or third parties.
11. Changes to These Terms
The College may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on the website with its effective or revision date. Continued use after a revision means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Severability
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
